Q. When is this year’s Milwaukee Brewfest?
A. The Fourth Annual Milwaukee Brewfest will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013.
Q. Where is the Brewfest taking place?
A. Milwaukee Brewfest will take place at the Old Coast Guard Pavilion, on Milwaukee’s scenic lakefront.

Q. What time do gates open?
A. Gates open at 2pm for VIP ticket holders and 3pm for General Admission.
Q. What time is Last Call?
A. Last sampling call is 6:30pm. Event participants must exit the fenced in grounds area by 7:00pm.
Q. Is there parking available?
A. Yes, there is street parking available, as well as event parking located south of the festival grounds. Please follow signage found on Lincoln Memorial Drive the day of the event for specific parking instructions.
Q. What about Public Transportation?
A. The Milwaukee County Transit System is available for use, and you can plan your trip by visiting their website. Milwaukee Brewfest will also be offering a shuttle the day of the event, for more information please see our shuttle page
Q. How do I buy tickets?
A. Tickets may be purchased through our safe-online hosted website as well as in person at our retail store in Milwaukee.

Q. What does GA ticket get you?
A. $40 Advanced - $45 At Event Entry
- A General Admission Ticket gets you:
- Unlimited sampling of over 200 craft beers and micro brews from around the world, as well as a number of other on-site activities such as:
- Musical performances
- Home brewing demonstrations & other exhibits
- Crowning of 2013 Milwaukee Brewfest Queen
- A variety of food for purchase from local restaurants and vendors
Q. What does the VIP ticket get you?
A. $60 Advanced - $65 At Event Entry
- A VIP Admission Ticket gets you:
- Early admission at 2PM
- VIP Lounge with Covered Seating
- Snacks
- Private Restrooms
- Sampling of rare and limited edition brews
- Plus everything that a General Admission ticket would get you!
Q. How many beers can I sample?
A. This year, we look forward to having over 250 brews to sample. For more information about breweries attending this year’s Milwaukee Brewfest, please visit our Brewery Page.
Q. Who can attend Milwaukee Brewfest? A. Milwaukee Brewfest is open to the public and all craft beer lovers. You must be 21 years of age to attend the event.
No Children or Pets are allowed into the event.
Q. What happens if it rains?
A. While outside, Milwaukee Brewfest is a tented event, and will take place rain or shine.
Q. What about designated drivers?
A. Designated Drivers (DD) are more than welcome to attend Milwaukee Brewfest and enjoy all of the other things that we offer.
- DD’s still must be 21 years of age or older.
- DD tickets are $15, and may be purchased at the gate the day of the event.
- The DD ticket also includes a limited Brat or Hot Dog meal and 3 beverage tickets (water or soda)
Q. Will there be food?
A. Yes, there will be a number of food options on site for purchase and some limited food sampling for you to enjoy. For more information, please see our food page.
Q. Will there be souvenirs and memorabilia available for purchase?
A. There will be a number of local artists, craftsmen and vendors on site with a variety of souvenirs and items to sell. For Milwaukee Brewfest retail items, please visit our storefront.
Q. Will you take credit cards?
A. We will take MasterCard and visa on site for the purchase of tickets and at the Milwaukee Brewfest Merchandise tents. We will also have ATM's available for use.
Q. Why the line for admission?
A. We are required to check IDs for all guests who enter the festival. Although you might experience a line at the entrance gate, the line will move fast. You can help make it flow even smoother by having your ID and ticket out in advance for age verification. Valid Photo ID required
Q. Why would a brewery run out of beer?
A. Sometimes, if a particular beer is overly popular that year, it could run out. Not to fret! Milwaukee Brewfest has over 250 beers to sample, plenty of variations to satisfy any beer connoisseur.
Q. Re-Entry Policy
A. Milwaukee Brewfest has a no re-entry policy. This means that once you are in, you are not able to be re-admitted into the festival.
Q. Smoking Policy
A. Because we are an outdoor festival smoking will be permitted, but in designated areas.
Q. Intoxicated Guests
A. All attendees of Milwaukee Brewfest are expected to sample craft beer, and to drink responsibility. Any guests that the festival management believe is causing a disturbance will be asked to leave Milwaukee Brewfest without a refund.
Q. Last Call for Alcohol
A. Taps will close at 6:45pm. Please note and plan accordingly. The festival wraps up at 7pm and you don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here!
Q. How do I find my way around?
A. There will be large maps throughout Milwaukee Brewfest as a reference. Brochures will also have a map and information about where each brewery is located.
Q. Can I bring my own food or drinks into Milwaukee Brewfest?
A. Milwaukee Brewfest will have plenty of food and non alcoholic drinks available for purchase, and ask guests to please refrain from bringing their own food and drinks into the festival.
Q. Beer is good, but is there anything else to do?
A. Yes! Although sampling craft beer is the main reason to go to Milwaukee Brewfest, we will also have:
- Musical performances
- Home brewing demonstrations & other exhibits
- Crowning of 2013 Milwaukee Brewfest Queen
- A variety of food for purchase from local restaurants and vendors
Q. Will there be any other alcohols at Milwaukee Brewfest besides beer?
A. Milwaukee Brewfest will also have different hard ciders and wines available to enjoy.
Q. Do you have any gluten-free beers available at Milwaukee Brewfest?
A. Yes a few different gluten beers we will have this year. Also, all of the hard ciders are gluten-free as well.
